Email Management for Winmark

We have developed VBA modules within Outlook for efficient management of incoming and outgoing emails for the Winmark mailbox. Our main objective was to adhere to pre-established management rules to classify emails into Outlook folders, archive a copy on disk, and send automated responses to certain types of emails.

In addition to this solution, we designed a Visual Basic application intended to convert certain types of emails into PDF format, deposit the files onto an FTP server, and send automatic emails.

Key features developed in this application include:

Creation of a database and tables to track and archive operations performed by the application, ensuring complete traceability of actions.
Secure authentication system via login and password to control access to the application and ensure data confidentiality.
Implementation of a user-friendly interface in the form of a menu, allowing intuitive use of the application's modules.
Automatic reading of emails, especially the content of MSG files, followed by conversion of each file into PDF format for better document management.
Automatic deposit of files on an SFTP server, ensuring data availability and security.
Automatic sending of emails in response to defined actions, contributing to smooth and efficient communication.
Exhaustive traceability of all tasks, whether manual or automated, providing transparent tracking of operations.
